Healthy Bandito Burrito

Serves Six

  • 1-pound extra lean ground turkey breast
  • 1 –tablespoon Olive Oil
  • ½ -cup of chopped red onion
  • ¼ -cup of water
  • ½ -can of chopped green chiles

Seasonings

  • 1 –teaspoon of garlic salt
  • 1 –tablespoon of crushed black pepper
  • 3 –tablespoons of Challula hot sauce / use 4 tablespoons for the best tasting spice
  • 1 –teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2-teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 –teaspoons chili powder
  • ½ -teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 -can of Rosita’s low fat vegetarian refried beans /or/ black beans
  • 1 –cup of Kraft 2% sharp cheddar shredded cheese

Use a large skillet and heat medium to medium high. Add olive oil followed by ground turkey. Once meat is broken up add the red onion and green chiles and stir in. Next add the seasonings and stir through out broken up ground turkey. Once meat is browned add the ¼ cup of water, cover and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
Spread approximately 2 tablespoons of beans to lite tortilla. Next add ¼ to ½ cup of bandito meat and top with 2 table spoons of 2% cheese. Microwave for just 30 seconds only and melt the heat and flavor together. Add your favorite salsa or hot sauce and ENJOY!
